The research, highlighted in Health Affairs recently, finds direct government financing to make a difference to development and research for the most innovative new drugs, which typically undergo the meals and Drug Administration’s (FDA) “priority-review” process for authorization. To be honest, at times where vets have been on the adcom even, my sense was that armed forces application final results could be expected very well predicated on some college pecking order, URM and GPA/GMAT formula.
